Life at Adani Foundation

On the occasion of our country’s 76th Republic Day, the team held celebrations a day in advance. The office was well decorated with Tricolours and the employees also came dressed in the Tricolour theme to showcase their love and patriotism for Bharat Mata.

On 4th January 2025, the Adani Foundation parivaar celebrated the birthdays of colleagues, including its CEO Dr Abhishek Lakhtakia. The entire team gathered and played games, and some of them also sang songs. This was followed by a cake cutting ceremony and refreshments for everyone.

On December 25, 2024, Christmas celebration was organized at the Adani Foundation office. As part of the celebration, employees came in red and white-coloured outfits, played the fun game of secret santa, and enjoyed the traditional plum cake. This was followed by refreshments.

The Cement CSR team, under the guidance of Mr Nitin Shiralkar, went through an intensive training program on Capacity Building. This well curated case study- and audio-visual-based training program delivered by an external agency delved into topics such as Project Management & Documentation, Stakeholder Management, Professional Competencies & Managerial Skills. The entire Cement CSR team from across the country travelled to Tiroda, Maharashtra, on December 9, 2024, for this training program. Mr Vasant Gadhavi, Executive Director of the Adani Foundation, addressed the team and emphasized the need for continuous learning and the Adani Foundation Management’s commitment towards its employees for the same. The team also received insights related to Public Hearing from one of their senior colleagues, Ms Pankti Shah. Mr Viral Parekh took them through a quick run-through on effective use of system for raising purchase requests. This was followed by a brief ice-breaking and interaction between the team and Mr Priyanka Jena, Associate Finance Controller. The entire training was duly summed-up with a field trip where the team witnessed the implementation of successful projects including those on dairy development, group farming and education-related programs.

The Adani Foundation celebrated the birthday of its chairperson Dr Priti Adani in the month of August. Colleagues gathered at the Adani Foundation office to wish Dr Adani and expressed their heartfelt wishes. Students from Adani Vidya Mandir, Ahmedabad, too visited the office to convey their regards. The celebrations were followed by a cake-cutting ceremony.
